VSMPO-Avisma to build 21 bln rbl facility in Titanium Valley
YEKATERINBURG, Jul 12 (PRIME) -- Russian titanium producer VSMPO-Avisma plans to build a 21 billion ruble shape mill for production of small-diameter titanium products in the special economic zone Titanium Valley, a company spokesperson told PRIME on Wednesday.
“The new facility will expand the existing rolled titanium capacities by more than two times and ensure the sales of unique high-precision products to Russia’s strategic industries,” VSMPO-Avisma acting CEO Nikolai Melnikov said as quoted by a company statement.
“With the new facility, we will be able to satisfy growing demand through expansion of the titanium products assortment demanded by the priority industries of the Russian Federation.”
The company will build all the necessary infrastructure on an area of 50,000 square meters, and expects to launch the new facility in 2027.
